What NoShorts is, and what it will never be
I'm one person. I built NoShorts because I wanted a quieter YouTube myself, and it ended up in thousands of browsers. I maintain it at night and on weekends: YouTube changes its layout, something breaks, and somebody has to fix it.
It is free and it is staying that way. There is no paid version, and no feature is going to sit behind a donation. There are no ads and no tracking either, and none of your data leaves the browser.
That holds whether you chip in or not. Nobody who chips in gets anything extra. It really is just a thank you.

It goes straight to me. Not through Google, not through the Chrome Web Store, not through any middleman.
