The short version: the NoShorts extension collects nothing about you. No data leaves your browser. The rest of this page just spells that out.
What the extension stores
Only your preferences: which features you turned on, the preset you picked, and your interface language. That lives in your own browser's local storage, on your machine. It is never sent anywhere and nobody but you can read it.
What the extension does not do
It collects no personal data, uses no analytics, installs no trackers, does not read your history, and makes no network requests at all. The only permission it asks for is local storage, and the only site it runs on is youtube.com. You can verify all of this in the source, which is open.
The website
noshorts.app is hosted on Vercel, which records technical request data (IP address, browser, page visited) the way any web server does, in order to run and protect the service. We use no tracking cookies and no audience analytics.
The support page
If you click "I'd support monthly", we only record that somebody clicked. It is a counter and nothing more. No identifier, no email, no cookie. A Pix donation happens entirely between you and your bank, so we neither receive nor store your payment details beyond what the bank shows on the transfer.
